Mounties Sweep Panthers, 9-0

OLEAN, N.Y. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team fell, 9-0, to Mount Aloysius in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play, Friday evening at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center.

"We weren't content to sit back in the court and rally. Instead we used our power to make many first strikes. We just needed to be a little more aggressive," said Pitt-Bradford head coach Susan Schenfield. "Unfortunately our top three players were unable to play tonight due to an illness or an injury."

Matt Dennis gave the Panthers their best chance at a victory at sixth singles. He took Dylan Matta to three sets, winning the first one 6-4, before falling 6-1 and then 10-5 in the tie-breaking set.

The Panthers return to action Saturday, April 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Pitt-Greensburg.
