Men's Soccer Returns Home to Battle Thiel

Bradford, Pa. -- After dropping two tough contests over the weekend, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Men's Soccer team returns to their home field looking to get into the win column against Thiel.

The Panthers have started their season going 0-2-1 through three contests. They picked up a 1-1 draw in the opener with Alfred and fell twice over the weekend to Chatham and Bethany. Chase Rider has led the offense early on. He has 3 goals on the young season and added an assist. Scott Compson has 2 goals, including the game-tying goal in the draw with Alfred. Sihle Sizani has started two games in goal for the Panthers. He has made a league-high 25 saves.

The Tomcats enter the game 0-1-1. They opened the season with a 1-1 draw with Pitt-Greensburg and fell 5-0 to Medaille. Freshman Forward Chase Yopp has scored the lone goal for Thiel. Devin Weisbarth has started both games in goal for Thiel, recording 18 saves in the matches.
