Men's Soccer Looking for Return to Win Column

Bradford, Pa. -- After two consecutive road losses, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, looking to keep their undefeated home record intact.

The Panthers are currently 3-5-1 on the season with a 1-1 record in AMCC play. They lost a tough matchup with Mount Aloysius last week, falling 6-1 on the road. Spencer Sklar scored the lone goal of the game for the Panthers, his first of the season. Senior ChaseRider has led the Panthers this season, scoring 8 goals in just 8 games played. He also leads the team with 4 assists. Scott Compson has added 4 goals for the Panthers, while Jan Winneweisser has scored 3 and assisted on 2 more. Sihle Sizani has played the majority of minutes in goal for the Panthers. He has a 3-2-1 record and has made 57 saves. 

LaRoche enters the game with a 1-5 record this season and a 1-0 record in conference play. They picked up their lone win of the season last Saturday, beating Hilbert 3-1 on their home field. Junior Jake Gorman has led the Redhawks this season, scoring 4 of the team's 7 goals. He also assisted on another. Ryan Traux has scored 2 for LaRoche. The Redhawks have split time in goal down the middle between Benedict Mattingly and Denali Nicholas, with each playing 270 minutes. Mattingly has allowed 23 goals and made 24 saves in 4 losses, while Nicholas has the lone win for the RedHawks. Nicholas has made 22 saves while allowing 13 goals.
