Panthers in 14th After 1st Round at Region V Invite

South Bend, In. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team traveled to South Bend, Ind. to play in the Region V Invitational as they bring their fall season to an end. The Panthers shot a 339, which puts them in 14th place after 18 holes.

The Panthers were led by Ben Tubbs who used a strong front 9 to post a total score of 81. He is currently in a tie for 42nd. Brody Kamuda carded 3 birdies to shoot an 83. He is tied for 55th. Max Bizzak was third for Pitt-Bradford as he fired a 14-over par 85 to put him in a tie for 66th. Finally, Connor Smith and Curtis Barner both shot 90 to round out the scoring for the Panthers.

The Panthers will play one more round at the event tomorrow. They will begin with a shotgun start on hole 16 at 10:00 a.m. EST.
