Panthers Tie for 8th at LaRoche Invitational

Pittsburgh, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team played their final warm-up for the AMCC championship on Monday as they played in the LaRoche Invitational at Wildwood Golf Club in Pittsburgh. They finished with a score of 351, tying for 8th place.

The Panthers were tied with Penn State-Behrend. Westminster won the event at 315.

Individually, Brody Kamuda was the top finisher for the Panthers. He shot an 84, which was tied for 22nd. Conner Smith shot an 87 to put him in a tie for 32nd, while Ben Tubbs was just behind Smith in a tie for 39th with a score of 88. Curtis Barner and Max Bizzak both shot 92s to round out the scoring. Drew Heinze played as an individual and shot a 96.

The Panthers have wrapped up their regular season play. They will now prepare for the AMCC Championship Tournament, which begins next Monday. The Event will be played over two rounds on Monday and Tuesday and will be held at Indiana Country Club in Indiana, Pa. Tee times begin at 10:30 a.m.
