Panthers Take 7th, Smith Finishes 4th at Saint Vincent Invitational

Latrobe, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team returned to the links after more than a week's layoff to finish 7th at the Saint Vincent Invitational in Latrobe.

As a team, the Panthers posted a score of 356. They were three strokes behind Thiel in 6th and 7 strokes off Waynesburg in 5th. The host's gold team won the event at 336.

Connor Smith was the top finisher for the Panthers. He shot an 82, which put him in 4th. Ben Tubbs also had a top-ten finish, tying for 8th at 85. Brody Kamuda fired a 91, while Cutirs Barner rounded out the scoring at 98. Max Bizzak shot a 101. 

The Panthers will return to action on October 2nd when they travel to Pittsburgh to play in the Laroche Invite. They will play at Wildwood Golf Club, starting at 11:00 a.m.
