Panthers Post 336 on Day 1 of Mountain Valley Classic

Cresson, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team shot a 336 in the first round of the Mountain Valley Classic on Saturday, good for 11th place.

Ben Tubbs led the Panthers, shooting a 6-over par 78. Brody Kamuda fired an 84, while Max Bizzak and Connor Smith rounded out the scoring at 87. Curtis Barner posted a 91. Andrew Heinze played as an individual and shot a 105.

The Panthers will look to improve their standing tomorrow, as they head to Altoona to play in the second round of the tournament jointly hosted by Mount Aloysius and Penn State-Altoona. They will compete at Sinking Valley Country Club with tee times beginning at 11:00 a.m.
