The Pitt-Bradford men's golf team placed second at the Medaille College Invitational Tuesday in East Amherst, N.Y. It's the Panthers' second straight top five finish to start the season.

The host Mavericks won the event, firing a team score of 323, 12 shots better than Pitt-Bradford (335). Tom Morlock recorded an 82 to finish in a three-way tie for second individually, and Matt Moonan continued his strong start to his collegiate career, carding an 83, good for fifth overall. Brett Gardner and Jamie Rook each shot an 85, to tie for ninth, and John Bedford fired an 88.

Pitt-Bradford will return to action Sept. 17, at the Penn State Altoona Invitational.
