Schneider Named AMCC Player of the Week for 4th Time

Bradford, Pa. -- University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball player Nathan Schneider was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week by the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference on Monday.

Schneider was nearly unstoppable for Pitt-Bradford last week as the shorthanded Panthers went 0-2. Schneider averaged 28.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game as he played 78 of a possible 80 minutes for Pitt-Bradford. Schneider shot 56.4% from the field, including 36.4 from three, and went 8-for-11 from the line. He also added seven assists, two steals, and a block.

This is the fourth time Schneider has been named AMCc Player of the Week this season. He is currently 2nd in the AMCC in scoring with 21.1 points per game, and leads the conference in rebounding, collecting 12.1 rebounds per game. He has registered 13 double-doubles this season. This includes an active streak of 6 straight contests.

Schneider, and the rest of the Panthers, will be back in action on Wednesday, February 2nd when they travel to Mount Aloysius for an important AMCC matchup. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 tip.
