Panthers to Begin 2022 with Non-Conference Tilt

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will begin the second half of their season on Monday when they wrap up their non-conference schedule with a game against Hiram.

The contest, which was originally scheduled as an away game for the Panthers, was postponed from December 30th and moved to Bradford.

The Panthers enter the game with a 6-5 record after picking up a 94-62 victory over Penn State-DuBois on December 20th.  Isaiah Archie scored 29 points in the win on 11-14 shooting. Nathan Schneider notched a double-double for the Panthers with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He also led the team with 5 assists. Greg Archie also finished in double figures with 16 points.

Isaiah Archie leads the Panthers, as well as the AMCC in scoring. He averages 23.5 points per contests, as he is making 58.3% of his shots from the field. Schneider is just behind Archie on the AMCC scoring leaderboard as he is in second with 19.8 points per game. He is top of the conference in rebounding, grabbing 10.5 per contest.

The Terriers are 2-7 on the season with a 0-4 record in North Coast Athletic Conference play. They are currently on a tough run of results, as they have lost their last 6 games. Hiram scores 64.8 points per game and is led by Kevin Beans Jr. who scores 12.3 per game. Oliver Clingain leads the Terriers in rebounding.

The following regulations will be in place to align with Pitt-Bradford's COVID-19 mitigation efforts for indoor events. All spectators, game staff, officials, and team members not actively participating on the court are required to wear a mask at all times. Masks must be affixed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth. All spectators will be required to sign in upon their entrance into the facility, as the lists will be used in any contact tracing efforts that may become necessary. They will be required to provide a name and contact phone number to game staff.

The game is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
