Panthers Return to KOA Arena for AMCC Game of the Week against Pitt-Greensburg

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will host Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, playing in their second consecutive AMCC Game of the Week.

The Panthers enter the game with a 5-4 overall record and a 1-1 record in AMCC play. In their last matchup, the Panthers fell on the road at Penn State Altoona. The Panthers were unable to keep up with the Lions who shot 58.0% on their way to a 112-85 victory. The Panthers were paced by Isaiah Archie in the loss, as he scored 32 points on 14-18 from the field. His brother Greg also finished in double-figures, scoring 16 points.

Isaiah Archie is the reigning AMCC Player of the Week as the freshman averaged 32.5 points per game for the Panthers. He is currently the AMCC's leading scorer, as he averages 23.9 points per game. Nathan Schneider is averaging 19.0 points per game for Pitt-Bradford, and is the conference's leading rebounder, as he grabs 10.0 per game. Greg Archie is the only other Panther to average more than 10 points per game, as he scored 11.1 per contest.

The Bobcats are 2-6 on the season, while they also have a 1-1 record against AMCC opponents. They enter the game off of a loss, as they fell on the road to LaRoche 93-80. Micah Jones led the Bobcats with 16 points, while 5 other Bobcats scored in double figures. JoJo France is the Bobcat's leading scorer, as he is second in the AMCC, behind Archie, averaging 19.6 per contest. Fellow senior Matt Johnson is averaging 13.0 points per game, while Reggie POriah scores 11.6 per contest. Priah is also the team's leading rebounder as he averages 6.6 per game.

The following regulations will be in place to align with Pitt-Bradford's COVID-19 mitigation efforts for indoor events. All spectators, game staff, officials, and team members not actively participating on the court are required to wear a mask at all times. Masks must be affixed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth. All spectators will be required to sign in upon their entrance into the facility, as the lists will be used in any contact tracing efforts that may become necessary. They will be required to provide a name and contact phone number to game staff

The contest is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday in KOA Arena.
