KATIE MOORE ’09
Moore was a member of the women’s basketball team from 2005-09 and was a four-time AMCC Academic All-Conference selection. She was named AMCC Player of the Year in 2008 and Female Rookie Athlete of the Year in 2005-06. Moore was a two-time Scholar Athlete of the Year and was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2008-09. She also racked up numerous Player of the Week honors and was a DIII News All-American Honorable Mention as a senior.
She currently ranks third in career points (1,434), fifth in field goals made (478), fourth in free-throws made (311) second in three-point field goals (167), second in three-point field-goal percentage (33.9), second in free-throw percentage (72.7) second in steals (204), third in points in one game (33), second in points in a season (482), fifth in field goals in one season (163), second in three-point field goals in one season (59), fifth in free-throws made in one season (109) and second in three-point field-goal percentage in a season (40.4).
DAVE BROWN III '04
Brown’s .410 batting average is the best average over one season in the program’s history. He also holds the single-season record for stolen-base percentage (1.000), games played (44), games started (42), hits (55), RBIs (36), sacrifice hits (6) and stolen bases (10).
He is also among the top 10 in career batting average (.362), slugging percentage (.530), on-base percentage (.430), games played (131), games started (129), at bats (389), hits (.141), doubles (30), triples (4), home runs (9), total bases (206), sacrifice hits (12) and stolen bases (24).
Brown has been very successful off the field as well, working as a physician’s assistant in Coudersport.
JAMIE KEANE-BREESE '09
Keane-Breese proved to be a terrific asset to Pitt-Bradford athletics. Keane-Breese dominated the softball field and the volleyball court. She was a two-time All-AMCC selection in volleyball as well as a four-year starter on the softball team. She was named Pitt-Bradford’s Rookie of the Year in 2003-04 and Female Athlete of the Year in 2006-07.
Keane-Breese ranked in the top 10 in kills and digs in the AMCC in 2005 and 2006. She was also sixth all time in kills and 10th in digs and sets played.
On the field, she was a First-Team All-AMCC selection in 2007 after leading the conference in home runs. Keane-Breese ranks fifth in career games played, seventh in runs scored, hits and RBIs, and seventh in stolen bases.
The softball team posted a 103-50-1 overall record and a 51-15 mark in the AMCC during Keane’s four years. She appeared in three NCAA Division III Tournaments and also played in the 2004 ECAC South Regional. She has enjoyed plenty of success off the field as a teacher in the Otto-Eldred School District.
