D3 Week: Pitt-Bradford Volleyball Wins Team Peak Performance Award

Bradford, Pa. -- For the third day of D3 Week, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released its annual Team Peak Performer Awards, and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team was one of the squads recognized.

The award is given annually to the teams holding the highest cumulative team GPA in their respective sports as of the conclusion of the Fall 2021 semester.  The Pitt-Bradford Volleyball team finished the Fall with a 3.75 average team GPA. It was the 2nd best team GPA of the 16 recognized by the AMCC.

"I am so proud of this team and the success it continues to have on and off the court. These players take their academics very seriously, they help each other, they root for each other, and it's so nice to see them once again get recognized for their hard work," said head coach Tom Roof. "This is a determined group that strives to be the best at everything they do, and one that has proudly continued the winning culture and tradition that's been established with Pitt-Bradford volleyball."

This is the third time the program has won the award, as it previously won in 2018 and 2021.

The full release from the AMCC, including all of the award-winning teams, can be found on the conference website, here.
