Panthers to Host LaRoche and Keuka for Regular Season Finale

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Volleyball team will bring their 2022 regular season to a close on Saturday as they host LaRoche and Keuka in a tri-match.

The day will start with Pitt-Bradford wrapping up their AMCC slate with a crucial matchup against LaRoche at 12:00 p.m. After the AMCC matchup, LaRoche will take on Keuka at approximately 2:00 p.m. and the day will come to an end with the Panthers playing Keuka at 4.

The Panthers enter the game 9-15 overall with a 3-3 record in AMCC play. They are currently in 6th place in the AMCC standings, needing a win to have a chance to move up to the #4 seed in the postseason tournament and host a first-round matchup. The Panthers traveled to Erie in their midweek matchup, where they fell to Penn State-Behrend 3-1. In the matchup, senior setter Tabitha Walker recorded her 2000th assist. This season, the Panthers have been led by Olivia Reese, who is second in the AMCC in kills with 260, with a league-leading 93 of those kills coming in AMCC matchups. Freshmen Darby Deniston and Ruby Smith have also reached 100 kills this season, with Deniston recording 141 and Smith tallying 133. Senior Kaitlyn Sexton has also passed 1000 kills this season, totaling 105. Sexton is also 6th in total blocks with 40. Tabitha Walker leads the AMCC with 725 assists and averages 8.15 per set. Kayla Maslowski leads the Panther defensive effort and is leading the conference in digs with 370.

LaRoche is 12-12 on the season and also 3-3 in AMCC play. They fell 33-1 to Penn State-Altoona in their midweek matchup. The Redhawks are led by Bethany Nulph who has 221 kills this season. Lauren Tomasko and Kalli Grine have also surpassed 100 kills, tallying 141 and 107 kills respectively. Cassidy Rossi is the Redhawk's primary setter with 332 assists. Madison Johnson has added 157. Mackenzie Kerkan leads the team with 300 digs, while Nulph has 223 and Sydney Herzer has added 233.

The Keuka College Wolves are the non-conference matchup for the trimeet. Playing out of the Empire 8, the Wolves are 8-15 overall and 4-5 in conference play. They swept Russel Sage in their last game. Dayna Edholm leads the wolves with 157 kills. Megan McCann, Camey Knapp and Ava Hubbard have all added more than 100 kills as well. Casey Hunziker is the primary setter for the Wolves, tallying 648 assists this season. Emma Sipos leads Keuka with 351 digs, while Edholm has added 200.
