Panthers to Host AMCC Tilt with Hilbert

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team returns to KOA Arena Wednesday night to host Hilbert in an AMCC matchup.

The Panthers are 6-12 on the season and 0-1 in AMCC play after losing a 5-set thriller at Mount Aloysius in the conference opener. The Panthers went up 2-1 after a dominating third set but were unable to hold off the Mounties who won set 4 25-22 and then outlasted Pitt-Bradford in the 5th 15-12. Olivia Reese finished with 23 kills in the matchup, a new career high. Tabitha Walker had 45 assists and Kayla Maslowski collected 33 digs. On the season, Reese has totaled 181 kills and is 3rd in the conference in kills per set at 2.97. Tabitha Walker tops the AMCC leaderboard in assists with 518, while Kayla Maslowski and Stepanie Carson are in the top 5 in the conference in digs at 265 for Maslowski and 218 for Carson.

Hilbert is 4-13 this season and started conference play last Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Penn State-Altoona. Jenna Revak and Michaela Rice each finished with 9 kills, while Katie Kociszewski added 6. Revakleads the Hawk's attack with 113 kills, while Michaela Rice has added 90. Jaden Helbig serves as the team's main setter, distributing 260 assists in 56 sets played this season. 3 Hawks have collected more than 100 kills this season, with Revak leading the team with 145.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in KOA arena.
