Panthers Look to Stay Undefeated at Home Against Penn College

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team will host Penn College of Technology on Tuesday evening, playing their last tune-up before AMCC competition begins this weekend.

The Panthers have had a week to rest and recuperate after a long first month of the season. They are 5-11 so far this season but are 4-0 in matches played in KOA Arena. They enter the non-conference match-up coming off of a 3-0 loss to Buffalo State.

Olivia Reese has led the Panther attack so far this season, totaling 153 kills. She is currently 4th in the conference. Freshman Darby Deniston has been a key part of the Pitt-Bradford offense as well as she has added 123 kills in her first collegiate campaign. Kaitlyn Sexton and Jenna Louser have all split time at middle hitter. Sexton has 54 kills and 23 total blocks, while Louser has 41 and 17. Tabitha Walker leads all AMCC setters with 456 assists while also chipping in 142 digs and 15 aces. Kayla Maslowski and Stephanie Carson have split libero duties with Maslowski collecting 220 digs and Carson adding 197.

The Penn Wildcats are 2-9 so far this season and enter the match off of two straight-set losses at the Widener Tri-meet. Coryn Oswald leads the Wildcats with 67 kills, while Christine Limbert has added 52. Cheyenne Stein serves as the primary setter, and has totaled 196 assists over 11 matches. Oswald also leads the team with 138 digs. Brooke Simmons had also surpassed 100 digs on the season, as she has 121.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in KOA Arena.
