VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team wrapped up action in the Virginia Wesleyan Tournament with a split on its final day.

Pitt-Bradford (2-2) started the day's action with a straight-set defeat (25-12, 25-13, 25-11) to Randolph-Macon, before regrouping for a four-set win (25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-18) against Randolph.

Against Randolph-Macon, Elizabeth Johnson led the team with five kills while Katie Treat had four. 

Riley Anderson and Alayna Seggi had eight digs apiece.

20 different Panthers saw time on the floor during the contest.

Then in the afternoon's action, with a one-set lead, Pitt-Bradford capitalized on 12 Randolph attack errors in the second set to jump out to a two-set lead.

Randolph later extended the match with a 25-20 win in the third set, but Pitt-Bradford secured the victory with a 25-18 win in set four.

Emily Cleveland continued her strong opening weekend with a game-leading 10 kills, while Anderson knocked nine and Treat put eight on the floor.

Gabby Barnes and Tabitha Walker recorded double-digit assists with 18 and 10, respectively.

Defensively, Hildebrand led the game with 27 digs.

The Panthers finish action against tough competition in Virginia Beach with a level 2-2 mark to start the season.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will open up its home portion of the schedule hosting Elmira Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the KOA Arena.
