GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team returned to its winning ways Saturday with a three-set victory at Pitt-Greensburg.

"That's a good win against a team that's much better than its record shows," Head Coach Tom Roof said. "Greensburg kept a lot of tough balls alive and got some real nice swings. We were down early, but we did what we had to do to win. We were also able to get a lot of different players in today too. Overall, a real nice conference win."

With the win, the Panthers improve to 5-2 in conference play and 15-12 overall, remaining in third place in the AMCC standings.

Pitt-Greensburg falls to 1-6 in AMCC and 1-20 overall.

Pitt-Greensburg came out strong and opened up a 5-1 lead to start a competitive first set.

Both teams knocked 14 kills, but the Panthers came through with the 27-25 win in the opening set.

The Panthers capitalized on 10 Greensburg attack errors for a 25-17 victory in the second set.

Pitt-Bradford then knocked 10 kills and made just five errors while Pitt-Greensburg made 12 attack errors to give the Panthers the match victory with a 25-19 win in set three.

Riley Anderson knocked a game-high 10 kills while Alexandra Segura was next with five.

Payton Orzech had 12 assists and Gesica Ferrar assisted five of the team's kills.

Laura Hildebrand and Anderson had eight digs apiece.

At the net, Segura led the team with four blocks assisted.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will host Hilbert Wednesday for its final regular season home match of the season.
