The Pitt-Bradford volleyball team's season came to an end Thursday night in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament. The Panthers were swept by No. 2 Calvin 25-10, 25-14, 25-17.

Just days removed from winning the program's second-ever AMCC championship, the Panthers struggled to match Knights' potent attack.

Calvin hit a scorching .412 as a team and controlled the net with eight blocks. Pitt-Bradford registered as many kills as attack errors (16) and yielded eight service aces.

Kirsten Platz had a team-high five kills and two blocks, and Mandy Finch totaled three kills. Christina Rauh tallied 13 assists, and Brianna Majot led the defense with seven digs.

Pitt-Bradford finishes the season 25-6 overall.
