Jordan and Hance Named 2nd Team All-AMCC

Bradford, Pa. -- Two members of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team were named to the AMCC's All-Conference team. Junior Jessica Jordan and freshman Caroline Hance were named to the 2nd team for both their singles and doubles play.

Jordan and Hance were awarded for their performance together at #3 doubles pairing. They compiled a 6-1 record in AMCC play and 9-1 in all competitions. They won their final 7 matches of the season, including picking up a win in the Panther's post-season loss to D'Youville.

In singles play, Jordan led the conference in wins at the #5 position with 6 in conference play and 9 overall. She finished the year with a 9-1 overall record and a 7-1 record against AMCC opponents. She was also named to the AMCC's All-Tournament team for her performance in post-season play.

In her debut collegiate season, Hance went 8-1 in the #6 position with a 6-1 record in AMCC play. She won her final 6 decisions of the season, including 2 tiebreak set wins at Mount Aloysius and against Penn State Behrend.

The Pitt-Bradford tennis team finished their fall season with a 5-6 overall record with a 4-4 record in conference play. They returned to the AMCC tournament after a two year hiatus as the #5 seed. They fell to the fourth seeded D'Youville Spartans by a score of 5-1.
