Panthers Women's Tennis To Open Conference Play Hosting Mount Aloysius Friday, At D'Youville Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team will open conference play with a busy weekend, hosting Mount Aloysius Friday evening before heading to D'Youville Saturday.

Due to construction on the Pitt-Bradford tennis courts, the Panthers will play Friday's match at the outdoor courts on the campus of St. Bonaventure University.

Pitt-Bradford is in search of its first victory, as it lost to Fredonia in its opener (Sept. 1) and Alfred (Sept. 7).

Maya Bingaman is playing in the top spots for the Panthers, playing both No. 1 singles and doubles.

Elanie Roberts has teamed up with Bingaman in No. 1 doubles.

Abbie Buerkle has split time in the No. 2 and No. 3 singles spot, while Roberts has also played in the No. 3 spot.

Jessica Jordan, Rebecca Jordan and Aaliyah Smith are also regulars in the Panther lineup.

Mount Aloysius enters the AMCC opener with a perfect 5-0 record.

D'Youville enters the weekend at 1-3 overall, picking up its lone victory over Penn State-Behrend on Sept. 8.

Friday's match will begin at 6 p.m.
