Bradford -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will be back in action on home turf Saturday afternoon, as they will host the Mount Aloysius Mounties in an AMCC match-up.
The Panthers are in search of their first win of the season, and enter the game with a 0-9 overall record and a 0-1 record in AMCC play. They opened their conference slate last week with a 4-0 loss to LaRoche. Sadie Wood made 26 saves in the loss, the 6th most in a match in the entire NCAA this season. Mia Camps led the team with 2 shots in the game. Delaney Stowe has scored 3 of the Panthers' goals this season, while McKenna Kelly added another. Wood has played every minute in goal for Pitt-Bradford, making 126 saves. her 14.75 saves per game is the 5th best in the country.
Mount Aloysius enters the game with a 1-11 record and an 0-1 start in AMCC play. They fell 7-2 to Penn State-Behrend in the conference opener last weekend, before falling 4-0 to Mary Washington in their midweek matchup. Jasmine Hinton leads the team with 4 goals and 2 assists, while Katie Figinski has added 3 goals in just 7 games played. Courtney Vought has played the majority of the time in goal, making 53 saves, while allowing 22 goals.
