Panthers Women's Soccer To Welcome Saint Vincent On Tuesday

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team will play its first of three-straight home games Tuesday as Saint Vincent comes to the Kessel Athletics Complex Tuesday evening.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off a 2-0 win at Geneva on Friday. The Panthers got on the board early on a Geneva own goal and then doubled their lead shortly after the start of the second half on a goal from Meghan Stuck.

The offensive effort was enough to back a stellar performance in goal by Sarah Dailey, who tied a career high with 13 saves. In keeping Geneva out of the net, she earned both her third clean sheet of the season and helped give the Panthers their third-straight shutout road win.

So far this season, Dailey's 58 saves are second most in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, and she has the fifth-best goals-against average (1.57) of any keeper in the conference. She has saved 84.1 percent of shots on goal, the sixth-best save percentage in the AMCC.

For her performance in the team's two games, Dailey was named the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Courtney Shade and Stuck lead the team with two goals apiece so far this season. Abby Celesky and Grace Dadzaa have also scored for the Panthers.

Kaitlyn Williams has assisted two goals.

Tuesday's game against Saint Vincent will start at 5 p.m.
