GENEVA, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team earned its third-straight shutout win on the road with a 2-0 victory at Geneva Friday evening.

Goalkeeper Sarah Dailey tied her career high with 13 saves to earn her third clean sheet of the season.

"We got the win while not playing our strongest game," Head Coach Melissa Lincoln said. "Sarah played a great game for us, stopping every shot she faced. I was very impressed by her and I'm glad the girls got the job done."

A strong Panthers' offensive performance from the start was rewarded just five minutes into the game. Kaitlyn Williams fired a shot from outside of the box that ricocheted off a Geneva defender and in, giving Pitt-Bradford an early 1-0 lead.

Eight minutes after the start of the second half, the Panthers doubled their lead. Off a feed from Courtney Shade, Meghan Stuck buried her second goal of the season, putting Pitt-Bradford ahead, 2-0.

Geneva pressed for much of the second half, testing Dailey and the Pitt-Bradford defense. All eight of Dailey's second-half stops came in the final 25 minutes of the game.

Victoria Stump played her role in keeping Geneva out of the net as she was awarded a defensive save at the 70-minute mark.

The Pitt-Bradford defense also held off eight Geneva corner kicks, including five in the second half alone.

Next up, the Panthers will return home as they play host to St. Vincent on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
