Panthers Wrap Up Road Trip with Contests at Alfred, Keuka

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team will wrap up its five-game road trip with a pair of games this weekend, first at Alfred on Saturday and next at Keuka on Sunday.

The Panthers are coming off a loss at Dickinson on Wednesday.

Sarah Dailey made 11 total saves, and she's seen all of the action in goal so far this season. Her 25 total saves are third-most of any keeper in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference so far this season.

Grace Dadzaa, Meghan Stuck and Kaitlyn Williams recorded shots for the Panthers on Wednesday. Williams leads the Panthers with five total shots. Dadzaa is second with two so far this season.

After this weekend's action, the Panthers will welcome Houghton for its home opener Wednesday, Sept. 13.

About Alfred:

  • After dropping its first two games of the season, Alfred is coming off a 2-0 win over AMCC rival Hilbert on Wednesday.
  • Lexi Riffelbach, Sara Nostrant and Emily Wright have all scored for Alfred.
  • For Riffelbach, the goal served as her lone shot of the season. Wright leads the team with 15 shots.
  • In goal, Sammy Jo Shanahan has played all 270 minutes in goal so far this season. She's made 13 saves and surrendered six goals on 31 total shots faced.

About Keuka:

  • Sunday's game will mark the fourth contest of the 2017 season for Keuka. After a 1-0 win over Utica at home on Sept. 1, it has suffered back-to-back losses at Hartwick (Sept. 2) and at Rochester (Sept. 6).
  • Emily McGuigan has scored the lone goal for Keuka this season.
  • McGuigan also leads the team with four total shots. Jessie Hammers follows close behind with three while Danielle DeSimone and Jysenia Dunlavey have two each.
  • In goal, Adriana Gunkel has played 271:10 minutes. She's made 29 total saves and surrendered seven total goals.
