Grace Dadzaa netted a pair of goals and the Pitt-Bradford women's soccer team dispatched of La Roche, 3-1, Saturday. It was the Panthers' fourth straight win.

In a match that could go a long ways in determining seeding for the conference postseason tournament, the Panthers were at their best, building a 2-0 halftime lead and extending the advantage to three before conceding the Redhawks' only tally. La Roche and Pitt-Bradford entered the day ranked two and three, respectively, in the conference standings.

Pitt-Bradford jumped ahead early on Abbey Kalin's goal in the 11th minute. Following a failed corner kick attempt, Meghan Thomas delivered a pass to Kalin near the top of the box and she finished in the far corner to beat the La Roche goalkeeper. It was her second marker of the year.

Dadzaa added to the lead in the 29th minute, heading in Delaney Houtz' centering pass from outside the box. It was her fifth goal of the season.

The lead ballooned to three in the 52nd minute on Dadzaa's second score. With possession in the box, Courtney Shade tapped a pass to Dadzaa, who finished on her first touch.

La Roche responded minutes later to trim the lead to 3-1 yet the Redhawks would be shutout the rest of the way as the Panther defense worked to control possession and limit opportunities.

The Redhawks narrowly outshot Pitt-Bradford 15-14, and the Panthers held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

Sarah Dailey registered eight saves in net for the Blue and Gold, including several key stops in the second half. Over the last four matches, Dailey has yielded just two goals.

Pitt-Bradford improves to 7-4-3 on the season, including 4-0-2 in the AMCC, and will travel to Penn State Behrend Wednesday for a matchup between the only two teams left unbeaten in conference play.
