The Pitt-Bradford women's soccer team won its second straight match Saturday, beating Franciscan 1-0.

The game was scoreless until the 52nd minute when Grace Dadzaa curled a shot in from the left post for the game's only tally. Abbey Kalin was credited with the assist after sending the pass forward between two defenders.

Pitt-Bradford outshot the Barons 18-12 yet struggled finishing opportunities. Dadzaa had a header stopped in the 65th minute, Kaitlyn Donnelly's attempt in the 73rd minute sailed just over the crossbar and Jasmine Adams' one touch shot late in regulation rolled wide.

The Panthers attempted six corner kicks to the Barons' four, and Sarah Dailey registered four saves in net to earn the victory.

"It's great to get a second consecutive conference win," head coach Marquis Walker said. "Grace [Dadzaa] did a great job of creating her goal today.

Our defense did a very good job being organized even though we had different players playing in that position due to injuires."

Pitt-Bradford improves to 5-4-3 on the season while remaining unbeaten in conference (2-0-2). The Panthers travel to Medaille Wednesday for another AMCC tilt.
