Pitt-Bradford Women, Altoona Play to a 2-2 Draw

Trailing Penn State Altoona 2-0 in the first half Saturday, the Pitt-Bradford women's soccer team rallied and eventually played to a 2-2 draw in double-overtime. It was the conference opener for both teams.

The Lions led by two just 18 minutes into the match. Pitt-Bradford's Abby Celesky scored shortly before halftime to cut the deficit in half, her first tally of the season. Jasmine Adams drew the Panthers even in the 60th minute, corralling a deflected pass from Jade Adams in the box and beating the keeper.

Despite combining for 30 shots over the game's final 65 minutes, neither team would push across the game-winner. Penn State Altoona outshot the Panthers 25-21 and held a narrow 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Sarah Dailey collected 11 saves in net for the Panthers, including two in overtime.

Pitt-Bradford moves to 3-3-2 and hosts Alfred Wednesday in its final non-conference match of the season.
