BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team found a way to win yet again, against a tough, Penn State Altoona team, Saturday afternoon at the Kessel Athletic Complex. 

Meghan Stuck and Jamie Christensen scored the goals, while Maggie Boehler added two assists. Sarah Dailey posted three saves to earn the victory in goal for the Panthers. 

"The important thing at this time of year is getting results, and we managed to get another one today," said Pitt-Bradford head coach Mike Idland. "It's important that the team stays very focused for our next game throughout the week, because we will have another very tough fight on our hands." 

Stuck took a through ball off the foot of Boehler in the 30^th minute and carried it down the middle of the box, beating the keeper and giving the Panthers a 1-0 advantage. 

"It was exciting to see another talented freshman open her scoring account," Idland said. "That's a good indication of the talent that we have for the future of our program." 

Penn State Altoona's Brittany Allison tied the game at 1-1, connecting on a PK in the 36^th minute.

Christensen then provided the game-winner in the 66^th minute. She finished a ball that deflected off of Boehler, giving the Panthers a 2-1 lead, and eventually the win.

Although it was just a one-goal game, the Panthers dominated time of possession and held a commanding 10-4 advantage in shots on goal.

The Panthers honored Molly Carson, Boehler, and Christensen prior to the game as part of their annual Senior Appreciation Day.

"It was special to see Jamie score the game-winner on senior day," Idland said. "It was a good representation of the great work our senior have done over the last four years."

The Panther return to AMCC action Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3:15 p.m. at Pitt-Greensburg.
