BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team cruised to a 4-1 victory over AMCC foe, Medaille College, during a torrential downpour at the Kessel Athletic Complex on Tuesday afternoon.

Kaitlyn Williams, Kaitlyn Donnelly, Grace Dadzaa and Jamie Christensen scored one goal each, while Ashley Parks and Donnelly picked up assists. Sarah Dailey gathered two saves to earn the victory in goal for the Panthers.

"It was another good win for us today," said Pitt-Bradford women's soccer coach Mike Idland. "Our team did a good job of embracing the elements and had a lot of fun with the game, which is important. Thankfully, we managed to convert a few of our chances in front of the goal despite the slippery, unpredictable playing surface."

Williams and Donnelly helped the Panthers get out to a 2-0 lead early in the game. Williams scored on a perfect through ball from Donnelly in the 15^th minute, while Donnelly finished a ball that deflected off of Parks in front of the net just minutes later.

The Mavericks got one back late in the first half when Michelle Carpenter sailed a shot just out of Dailey's reach from just inside the midfield line in the 42^nd minute.

Dadzaa gave the Panthers a two-goal lead just seconds later, gathering a deflection off of the Maverick's keeper and finishing to the far post.

"It was exciting to see Grace open up her scoring account," Idland said. "We continue to get a number of players chipping in on the scoring front."

Christensen rounded out the scoring for Pitt-Bradford with a long goal from the midfield line in the 53^rd minute.

The referees called the match after 70 minutes, as the heavy rain made the field unplayable.

The Panthers continue AMCC play Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at La Roche.
