Morris was beaten once more in the 3rd place match by tech fall.

While they were not able to place in their weight classes, the remaining four Panther wrestlers were able to pick up victories on the day.

Despite losing his opening bout, Ray Worsen was able to win four straight matches in the consolation bracket at 149. He picked up his first win on a 5-0 decision before pinning the next three opponents. He got his second win in 4:00, third in 1:58, and fourth in 1:08.
