BRADFORD, Pa. -- With the regular season behind them, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford wrestling team will now compete in the NCAA Division III Southeast Regional Tournament Friday and Saturday hosted in the Keiper Recreation Center at Lycoming College.

The top wrestlers from each of the 20 participating region school in their respective weight classes will compete for an NCAA Championship qualification.

This NCAA Division III Championships qualifying tournament is a two-day, double-elimination format. The top three placers in each weight class will earn automatic bids to the NCAA III Championships March 8-9 at Roanoke, Va.

Pitt-Bradford is led by its heavyweight wrestler Sam Colebert, who owns a team-best 15-5 record. 

With 11 wins, Mitch Dowd will represent Pitt-Bradford at 197 lbs. while Quentin Ellis (184 lbs.) and Victor Elias (157 lbs.) take nine wins apiece to the regionals.

At 133 lbs., Colton Davis picked up eight victories this season. Nathan Powley (174 lbs.) earned six wins and Elijah Hernandez (141 lbs.) had five victories to round out the Pitt-Bradford regulars.

Tickets for the regional will be available at the door each day for $7 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, and $3 for students. Lycoming College students will be admitted free with their college ID. All-session passes will also be available for $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens, and $5 for students. Doors open at 9 a.m. on Friday and 9:15 a.m. on Saturday with preliminary matches beginning on Friday at 10 a.m. and semifinals and consolation quarterfinals kicking off the second day at 10 a.m.
