ALTOONA, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's bowling team picked up a pair of wins in the final day of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Match, finishing the event 5-2 and in third place.

"I'm extremely proud of Abbey," Head Coach Sarah Foley said. "She stepped up and rolled a 14.27 baker average, the best of her career."

The Panthers defeated New Jersey City (764-678) and Hilbert (717-653).

Medaille topped the Panthers (921-716) in the first match of the day.

In the win over New Jersey City, Pitt-Bradford found wins in games two, three and four to grab the victory in the match.

Hilbert came out on top in three of the five games, but high differentials in the Panther wins in games three and five gave Pitt-Bradford the advantage in overall pin fall.

Mount Aloysius took the victory in the event, finishing a perfect 7-0 in its matches.

Haley Ward led the Panthers with a 16.38 baker average and Kelsey Hammons was close behind 16.10.

Abbey Kalin's average of 14.27 was good for third best on the team.

Jenna Lofaro earned a baker average of 13.52 and Meghan Stinnard rolled an 11.07.

Pitt-Bradford will be in action next on Saturday, Nov. 18, as the Panthers hit the road to take on this weekend's champion Mount Aloysius.
