Bowlers Finish 12th at Red Flash Invitational

The Pitt-Bradford women's bowling team finished 12th at the Saint Francis Red Flash Invitational this weekend in Altoona, Pa.

Pitt-Bradford went 1-4 on the opening day in the Baker format, registering an 872-789 win over reigning AMCC champion Mt. Aloysius. Of their four losses, the Panthers suffered narrow defeats to Saint Peter's (811-802) and Kutztown (869-837).

The Panthers posted a 2-3 record in the traditional format Saturday, picking up wins over Medaille (837-717) and Wilmington (861-646). Brianna Saylor led Pitt-Bradford with 964 total pins fell, and Haley Ward knocked down 850 pins. Saylor posted a team-high round of 256 in the win over Wilmington.

On the final day of the tournament, the Panthers went 1-2 in bracket play. Their only win came against Medaille (4-3), which was sandwiched between a pair of losses to Saint Peter's.

Pitt-Bradford travels to Medaille Saturday for an AMCC dual.
