Panthers Finish 23rd at Kutztown Invitational

The Pitt-Bradford women's bowling team finished 23rd at the Kutztown University Invitational this weekend.

The Panthers struggled through the first two days of competition, failing to register a win in either the traditional or Baker formats. Pitt-Bradford finished with 4,461 total pins fell in traditional matches, led by Chelsea Greene's team-leading 187 average. In the Baker format, the women totaled 4,478 total pins fell.

Pitt-Bradford bounced back on the final day, going 3-0 in the best-of-seven Baker format, registering wins over Medaille (4-0), Chestnut Hill (4-3) and Morgan State (4-3). In the team's finale, the Panthers edged Morgan State 173-172 in the final frame to secure the win.

The Panthers travel to the Red Flash Invitational hosted by Saint Francis (Pa.), which officially kicks off Friday.
