Women's Bowling Competes at AMCC Round Robin No. 2

The Pitt-Bradford women's bowling team hosted the second AMCC round-robin event Saturday and Sunday at Byllye Lanes.

Sunday Recap

Pitt-Bradford went 3-1 on the final day of action to finish second overall with a record of 4-4. The Panthers defeated Medaille (880-783), New Jersey City (783-768), and Thiel (905-578) before falling to Mt. Aloysius in the finale (875-752).

In the team's matchup with New Jersey City, the women trailed by 55 pins entering the final Baker frame, but outscored the Gothic Knights 188-118 for a improbable comeback win.

Saturday Recap

The Panther women finished the day 1-3 overall, earning a win over Thiel and dropping matches to Mt. Aloysius, New Jersey City and Medaille. Pitt-Bradford finished the day third with 3,821 total pins fallen, behind Mt. Aloysius (4,416) and New Jersey City (3,768).

The Panthers defeated Thiel 782-664, led by Haley Ward's 169. Erin Fagan rolled a 165, Brianna Saylor finished with a 158, Chelsea Greene totaled a 153, and Jenna Lofaro had a 137.

Pitt-Bradford and Medaille were tied at 807 total pins after 10 frames, but the Mavericks won the roll-off 95-75.

Fagan led the Panthers overall with a 166 average, including a score of 226 in the loss to Medaille. Ward had a five-game total of 158 to finish second behind Fagan.

Pitt-Bradford wraps up tournament play Sunday with Baker matches.
