Women's Bowling Competes at AMCC Round-Robin Meet

The Pitt-Bradford women's bowling team competed in the first of two AMCC round-robin weekend events on Saturday and Sunday in Jersey City, New Jersey, going 4-6 overall.

Pitt-Bradford went 2-3 on the opening day in a traditional style format, earning wins over Penn State Altoona and Thiel.

Chelsea Greene led the Panthers with a 161.80 average en route to knocking down 809 total pins. Brianna Saylor totaled 765 pins, Erin Fagan collected 758, Jenna Lofaro tallied 757 and Abbey Kalin recorded 510 pins.

For the series, the Panthers shot 3,599, good for fourth overall behind New Jersey City (4,006), Mt. Aloysius (3,982), and Medaille (3,812).

The Panthers went 2-3 on the second day in a five-game baker style format, registering victories over Penn State Altoona and Thiel. Pitt-Bradford collected a total of 3,567 pins, the fourth-best mark on the day.

Pitt-Bradford will return to action in January when it hosts the second AMCC round-robin weekend event Jan. 14-15.
