UPB Bowlers Open AMCC Championships at Medaille

KENMORE, N.Y. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's bowling team went 1-3 in the opening day of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships hosted by Medaille College at Classic Lanes.

The Panther's lone win of the day came in their opening match against Penn State Altoona. Pitt-Bradford topped the Lions 777-732.

UPB then fell 848-820 to host Medaille and then lost 759-750 to New Jersey City. The Panthers closed the day with a 950-779 loss to Mount Aloysius.

Chelsea Greene had a stellar day on the lanes, leading the Panthers with a 186 average, which is the second best average of all bowlers in the event. Hailey Ward followed with a 180.75 average in four games. Erin Fagan averaged 165.75 and Danielle Johnson and Amanda Stady rounded out the Panthers linue averaging 129 and 120 respectively.

The AMCC Championships conclude Sunday at Classic Lanes.
