Pitt-Bradford Heads To Pitt-Greensburg For AMCC Road Test Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team is set to compete in its second-straight road Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road game Saturday at Pitt-Greensburg.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off a tight defeat at Medaille Wednesday that dropped its AMCC record to 5-5, which is good for fourth in the conference.

The Panthers are looking to avenge a defeat during the two teams' matchup earlier this season in which Pitt-Greensburg came out on top, 66-63, on Dec. 8 at the KOA Arena.

Shirleah Ragin led the Panthers with 19 points while Jennifer Isenberg dropped 15 points and collected 11 boards for a double-double.

Shaelyn Snipes was also in double-figures for the Panthers with 13 points.

On the season, Snipes leads the team in scoring with 14.7 points per game and Isenberg is second with 14.1 points per game.

Ragin contributes 12.2 points per game and Latifah Cain drops 11.7 points per contest.

Running the point, Cain is the top distributor on the team and fifth-best in the conference dishing 3.7 assists per game.

Pitt-Greensburg welcomes the Panthers with a 6-12 overall record and a 5-6 mark in conference play -- sitting one spot below the Panthers in the standings.

The Bobcats own one of the top rebounders in the conference in Nadege Durand who collects 12.3 boards per game. She's also the seventh-best scorer in the AMCC averaging 15.2 points per game.

Saturday's game is set for a 2 p.m. start. It will be the first game of a doubleheader with the men's game coming after at 4 p.m.
