BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will look to string a pair of wins together as it heads to Penn State-Behrend Saturday for its first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road test.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off a convincing 82-63 win against Medaille Wednesday night in its AMCC opener.

The Panthers (1-4) were rocking on both offense and defense as Shirleah Ragin broke out with a career-high 24 points including a trio of three-pointers to lead the Panthers.

Shaelyn Snipes (15), Jennifer Isenberg (13) and Latifah Cain (11) also scored in double-figures for Pitt-Bradford.

Pitt-Bradford's stifling defense forced 28 Medaille turnovers. Isenberg and Ragin had five steals apiece.

The Panthers were plus-17 in turnover margin, losing the ball just 11 times.

Pitt-Bradford's 82 points scored are the most the squad has dropped all season, smashing the previous high of 65 against Chatham (Nov. 10) by 17.

Also, the team's 19 steals, five blocked shots and 28 forced turnovers against Medaille were season highs.

Snipes is the fifth-leading scorer in the AMCC with 16.2 points per game. 

Isenberg is third in the AMCC with 9.4 rebounds per game.

Pitt-Bradford as a team is forcing 19 turnovers per game, which is the second-best average in the conference. The AMCC's leader is Pitt-Bradford's opponent Saturday, Penn State-Behrend, with 19.2 forced per game.

Penn State-Behrend welcomes the Panthers with an identical 1-4 record overall. The Lions suffered a 71-54 setback against La Roche in its AMCC opener Wednesday. Kara Haslett is the team's leading scorer with 11.4 points per game while Alanna Dibble leads the squad with 8.0 boards per game.
