BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will play its final game before the New Year with a road non-conference matchup at Rutgers-Newark.
Pitt-Bradford has been idle for the holidays and its most recent game came at the KOA Arena on Saturday, Dec. 16, a one-point loss to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference first-place Mount Aloysius.
Ali Rinfrette led the Panthers with 16 points. Rinfrette has led the Panthers in scoring in each of the team's eight games, scoring in double-figures in all eight contests, three times scoring over 20 points and once scoring over 30 points.
Rinfrette leads the AMCC in scoring with 21.6 points per game while shooting the third-best percentage from the floor at 46.5 percent.
Pitt-Bradford's top rebounder is Jennifer Isenberg at 7.5 boards per game. Her rebounding average is the seventh-best in the conference.
The Panther defense has been one of the toughest in the conference so far this season. Pitt-Bradford earns 11.4 steals per game, with Rinfrette and Aria Alston-Smith tied for fourth in the conference with 3.0 steals per game.
Pitt-Bradford also turns the ball over less frequently than any other team in the conference with just 15.4 per game.
Saturday's game will begin at 1 p.m.
