Pitt-Bradford's women's basketball player Ali Rinfrette was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Rinfrette averaged 21 points, 11.5 rebounds, six assists and five steals last week while leading the Panthers to a 2-0 record.

She opened the week posting a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds in a 23-point victory over Alfred State. It was her third double-double of the season, and her 14 rebounds are tied for the seventh-most in program history. In addition, she handed out a season-high seven assists and collected six steals.

The junior guard followed that up by totaling 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals in an 81-66 win against Franciscan. She was 9-15 from the floor and 6-7 from the free throw line. For the week, Rinfrette shot 92 percent from the stripe (11-12).

It marks the fourth time in her career the Bradford native has received the conference's weekly honor.

Rinfrette and her teammates travel to D'Youville Wednesday for a 6 p.m. AMCC contest.
