BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball team is set for a road Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference doubleheader at La Roche Saturday.

Pitt-Bradford was scheduled to host Pitt-Greensburg for its home finale Sunday, but those games were moved to May 3 due to cold temperatures.

The Panthers are coming off a weekend in which they split with Penn State-Altoona Saturday and were swept at Medaille Sunday.

Entering the final weekend of the season, the Panthers are 11-15 overall and 3-7 in AMCC action.

Madison East leads the team with a .359 batting average, a .526 slugging percentage, 15 runs scored, 28 hits and 13 RBIs.

Betty Fratercangelo leads the team with 19 walks for 0.86 per game, which is good for fifth in NCAA Division III.

Last weekend, Maddy Hillery was the Panthers' top offensive player. In Sunday's doubleheader, she had multi-hit games in both contests -- making up two of the three total Panther hits in game two. She scored three runs on the week as well. Hillery went 5-for-11 for a .455 batting average in the four games.

In the circle, Jordan Uhing continues to be the team's top pitcher. Her 1.64 ERA on the year is the third-best in the AMCC while her four wins, 26 strikeouts and .249 opposing batting average lead the Panthers' pitching staff.

La Roche enters the weekend an even 13-13 overall and 7-7 in AMCC contests. The Redhawks will host Franciscan Friday night before welcoming the Panthers Saturday. In the circle for La Roche, Alexa Young is 7-3 on the season and is fifth in the AMCC with 60 strikeouts.
