BRADFORD, Pa. - Pitt-Bradford softball players Grace Dadzaa, Madison East, and Betty Fratercangelo were named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference postseason team, the league office announced Wednesday.

Dadzaa earned first-team honors, East was a second-team pick, and Fratercangelo received third-team recognition. All three players appeared on the all-conference squad for the first time in their careers.

Dadzaa, a sophomore outfielder, led the AMCC with 25 stolen bases and 41 runs scored. Her 25 thefts set a new school record, 11 more than the previous mark, and her 41 runs were the third-most all-time. She ranked third among all league hitters in batting average (.410) and total hits (55). The Grove City native raised her average by more than 200 points from her freshman season.

Her team-leading .448 on-base percentage was the fourth-best mark in the AMCC, and she ranked in the top 10 in total bases (61) and triples (3). In 18 conference games, Dadzaa hit .409 with 14 stolen bases and 21 runs. She also had a season-best streak of 11 straight plate appearances where she reached base and made several stellar defensive plays in leftfield, committing just one error in 60 total chances.

East, a freshman outfielder, was statistically one of the most complete hitters in the AMCC. She ranked in the top 10 in batting average (.374), doubles (9), triples (3), home runs (3), total bases (70), RBIs (32), stolen bases (15), on-base percentage (.430) and slugging percentage (.539). She led the league in runs driven in up until the final weekend of the regular season before being eclipsed by Penn State Behrend's AJ Nichols (34). Her 32 RBIs are the seventh-most in a single-season at Pitt-Bradford.

The Milton native feasted on AMCC pitching, batting .367 with seven doubles, two home runs and 21 RBIs in 18 league games. She was at her best with runners in scoring position, hitting at a .407 clip, and she posted 16 two-out RBIs. Defensively, East had three outfield assists, and she was honored as the Pitt-Bradford Female Rookie of the Year at the annual athletic awards banquet in late April.

Fratercangelo, a freshman third baseman, ranked among the top 10 AMCC hitters in on-base percentage (.447) and walks (14). In 68 total at bats, the Olean, New York, native hit .309 with 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored for the Panthers. She led the conference with nine sacrifice hits and hit .444 with runners in scoring positon. Fratercangelo assisted in turning three double plays and also appeared in eight games at catcher, where she threw out a pair of base stealers.
