Grace Dadzaa Earns AMCC Player of the Week Honors

BRADFORD, Pa. - Pitt-Bradford softball player Grace Dadzaa has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

In six games last week, Dadzaa hit .478, totaling 11 hits, six runs, four RBIs, two triples and a pair of stolen bases, leading the Panthers to 4-2 record against conference opponents.

The sophomore left fielder collected four hits and a stolen base in Pitt-Bradford's sweep of Franciscan, including going 3-3 with a RBI and two runs in game two. In the team's 12-9 victory over Hilbert, the Grove City native posted four hits, including a triple, two RBIs, and three runs, and she closed out the week going 3-8 against La Roche.

On the season, Dadzaa leads the AMCC in total hits (53), runs scored (39) and stolen bases (25). Her .411 batting average is tops on the team and fourth among all league hitters.

It marks the first time in her career, Dadzaa has received the conference's weekly award.
