Panthers Men's Tennis To Close Out 2018-19 Regular Season Hosting Mount Aloysius Friday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team is set to close out its 2018-19 regular season Friday hosting Mount Aloysius at the St. Bonaventure Tennis Center in Olean, N.Y., for Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action.

Pitt-Bradford (1-8, 1-4 AMCC) is coming off three-straight non-conference setbacks against Alfred (March 1), Bethany (March 3) and Thiel (April 4).

For senior Matthre Dennis, Friday's match will be the final of his tennis career as a Panther. He will be honored prior to the start of the match for Senior Day.

On the season, Jeffrey Kocjancic leads the team with four singles wins, splitting them between the No. 2 and No. 4 spots.

Jacob Volz has three singles wins, earning two in the top spot and one in the No. 2 spot.

In doubles action, the duo of Dennis and Volz have found the most success on the team, picking up a pair of wins in the top spot.

Mount Aloysius enters the final weekend of the regular season with a level 2-2 AMCC record and a 7-4 overall mark. 

The Mounties' top three singles players Matt Blose, Cole Kazmierczyk and Nick Goldyn all own records of 8-3.

And in doubles action, the duo of Blose and Goldyn have earned a blemish-free 11-0 record playing in the top spot so far this season.

Action Friday is set for a 6 p.m. start.
