Panthers Men's Tennis Set For Two Weekend Home Matches

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team is set to host a pair of weekend non-conference matches at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center in Olean, N.Y.

Pitt-Bradford will host Alfred Friday and Bethany Sunday.

The Panthers are coming off an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference defeat at Medaille Saturday, moving the Panthers' overall record to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in AMCC action.

The lone Pitt-Bradford point of the game came in No. 2 singles as Jeffrey Kocjancic came out on top in a competitive match, 7-5, 2-6, 14-12.

Alfred comes to town with a level 1-1 record, previously beating the Panthers on Sept. 7 and falling to Mount Aloysius on Feb. 9.

Bethany is 1-2, most recently defeating Penn State-Altoona on Feb. 24. The Bison will stop at Medaille Saturday to take on the Mavericks before heading town to Olean to clash with the Panthers.

Friday's action is set for a 6 p.m. start while Sunday is slated for a 12 p.m. start.
