BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team will play its final action of the 2017-18 regular season this weekend with a pair of Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road matches, first traveling to Franciscan Friday before heading to Pitt-Greensburg Saturday.

The Panthers enter the weekend most recently defeating Mount Aloysius, 6-3, at home to earn their first conference win of the season.

Pitt-Bradford is 1-2 in AMCC matches and holds fourth place in the conference.

In doubles play, the duo of Tyler Dugan and Jacob Volz earned a win in the top spot in dominant fashion, 8-2.

Similarly, Matt Dennis and Jeffrey Kocjancic picked up an 8-3 win in No. 3 doubles.

In singles, Dugan surrendered just one point in a commanding win, 6-1, 6-0.

Volz earned a victory in the No. 2 position, 6-2, 6-3, and Dennis picked up a win in No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-4.

Pitt-Bradford earned its sixth win of the day as Kocjancic earned the No. 5 singles victory, 6-3, 6-1.

On the season, Dugan leads the team with four singles wins -- three coming out of the top position. Dennis is second with three wins, while Kocjancic has a pair.

Dugan and Volz is the team's top doubles duo, going 4-5 overall and 2-1 in AMCC matches this season in the No. 1 position.

Pitt-Bradford's two weekend opponents met Thursday with Franciscan topping Pitt-Greensburg, 9-0. The victory was the Barons' first AMCC action of the season, so they welcome the Panthers with a blemish-free 1-0 mark in conference play.

Pitt-Greensburg is now 1-3 in AMCC play and fifth in the conference, fighting with Pitt-Bradford for the fourth and final conference playoff spot.

Thomas Clark has found the most success in singles action for Pitt-Greensburg, winning two AMCC matches out of the No. 4 spot. In doubles, the teams of Clark and Vaughan Hunkele, and Michael Rosky and Jeremy Simms have each won a conference match.
