OLEAN, N.Y. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team earned a convincing victory over Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Mount Aloysius Saturday.

"It was a good win for the team with nice senior wins for Matt," Head Coach Susan Schenfield said. "He had a classically complete all-court game that was topped with some great net play in doubles. In singles, he had plenty of roller coaster points, but pulled out the win with his big serves and forehands."

With the win, the Panthers earn their first conference victory of the season and improve to 1-2 in AMCC play.

Prior to the start of the match, Matt Dennis was honored for Senior Day for his time as a Pitt-Bradford student-athlete.

In doubles play, the duo of Tyler Dugan and Jacob Volz earned a win in the top spot in dominant fashion, 8-2.

Similarly, Dennis and Jeffrey Kocjancic picked up an 8-3 win in No. 3 doubles.

In singles, Dugan surrendered just one point in a commanding win, 6-1, 6-0.

Volz earned a victory in the No. 2 position, 6-2, 6-3, and Dennis picked up a win in No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-4.

Pitt-Bradford earned its sixth win of the day as Kocjancic earned the No. 5 singles victory, 6-3, 6-1.

The Panthers will look for its second-straight conference win as it heads to Franciscan Friday. Pitt-Bradford will wrap up its regular season next week, playing its season finale at Pitt-Greensburg Saturday.
