Panthers To Play First Conference Matches This Weekend Against Penn State-Altoona, Penn State-Behrend

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team will be back in action this weekend as they open up their Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference schedule first hosting Penn State-Altoona Saturday at the St. Bonaventure Tennis Center before traveling to Penn State-Behrend Sunday.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off a 5-4 win over Alfred on Friday, Feb. 23. 

In singles action, Matt Dennis and Tyler Dugan led the way with a pair of wins apiece so far this season.

Jeffrey Kocjancic and Jacob Volz each have a singles win as well.

The doubles tandem of Dugan and Jacob Volz has been the most successful for Pitt-Bradford so far, earning a pair of wins.

For his performance in the 5-4 Alfred win, Dugan was honored as the AMCC Player of the Week.

Penn State-Altoona has played just one match this season, a 7-2 loss to Geneva, while Penn State-Behrend owns a 6-4 record so far.

Action Saturday is set for a 1:45 p.m. start while Sunday's match will begin at 1:00 p.m.
